How to transcribe and translate voice notes
Can't listen right now? Turn any voice note into clean text in your language with a single tap.

1. Open the chat
Go to the conversation with the voice note you want to read. It could be on WhatsApp, Telegram or the Queso Network — Queso handles all three.
2. Tap the transcribe button
Beside each voice-note bubble is a small transcribe button. Tap it, and Queso gets to work — you'll see a brief spinner while it listens.
3. Read it — in your language
The transcription appears neatly below the bubble, already translated into your language. Perfect for noisy places, meetings, or a voice note that's just a bit too long.
4. See the original
Tap Show original to view the untranslated transcription in the speaker's own language, and tap again to switch back. The original audio is always there to play, too.
Good to know: transcription is powered by AI and is part of Queso Pro. It only runs when you tap — Queso never transcribes a voice note automatically, so you're always in control of what's sent for processing. See how this stays private.
